Thank you for helping me through some very difficult times in my life. My therapy experience has been amazing. I have taken so much from our sessions. I have been able to be myself and process my experiences. There is a lot I now use outside of therapy. No negatives to my therapy experience. Always been very positive. I knew I could rely on Aman and she was always there for me to talk to. If I was troubled, I felt reassured that I had therapy sessions to bring my troubles to, where we would discuss and process my feelings about any situation. It was always in my diary and that made the world of difference to me. I felt supported and felt I wasn’t alone with my problems. I was never let down by Aman. She would always listen with a kind tone and allow me the space to share openly. I felt a human connection, as though I wasn’t just a patient but an actual person. I said it to Danielle in our final session, but I’d also like to mention it now. I came to therapy because I was in a time I needed it, I needed the support and a place to take the weight off of me. I needed someone I could trust, to provide me with guidance and often insight into things I’d never even considered. Within a few sessions with Danielle, I felt at ease and knew I was in safe hands to divulge my thoughts. I didn’t know how I wanted therapy to look for me, but quickly realised that the methods and styles Danielle uses were the most appropriate and beneficial for me. I can’t put into words the help that Danielle has provided me and the ways she has changed my life, just through talking, prompting and guiding me. I felt understood, supported, and heard in all of our sessions. She was professional and compassionate-a balance which is hard to find. I couldn’t have asked for a better therapist to have during the hardest time of my life, and should I ever find myself facing a difficult time again, I would feel encouraged to know I had Danielle by my side again. I had a really good rapport with Aman. I am aware it can be hard to click with therapy sometimes but when my dad was in hospital, I found Aman to be an absolute pillar of support. I don’t think I would have got through that time without her. I am so grateful for everything. I am not sure my therapy journey is fully done but due to financial constraints, I will try to work on myself first to see if that helps through exercise, mindfulness, and weight loss as this causes much anxiety for me. I was at the start of a very dark place. I no longer wanted to choose the sadness and missed the me before all of the trauma. Richard (Mark-Hansen) was by far the best therapist I have ever had. His attention to detail, particularly in making me feel listened to and seen, was fantastic. He was particularly skilled at processing what I brought into the session and anchoring down the key points of discussion so that they were able to be explored usefully and thoughtfully.
I would particularly recommend his services to anyone who has experienced trauma and/or is neurodivergent. His knowledge in this area has provided me with invaluable support and guidance when I really needed it.
